Glide and Collide

Today we reviewed the Big Bang theory and reviewed the reading of the Continental Drift Theory.

AIM: I will define and explain the Continental Drift Theory and list one legacy of it today.

Standard: 7.1.1 Follow the great changes that formed the Earth and allowed human life to start.

Lesson Steps:
We reviewed our notes, had a brief discussion about the significance of September 11th and then went over the homework from last night. We checked our answers from the Continental Drift Theory handout which can be found in yesterday's post.

We reviewed the Big Bang song and added a new verse about Continental Drift. We also reviewed the participation log for the day and pinpointed students who needed to participate more tomorrow.

Homework:
Complete the "Tectonic Plate Cause and Effect" organizer from yesterday's handout and write at least one legacy from Continental Drift.
