AIM: I will define and explain the 'Big Bang' theory and list 2 legacies of it today.
Standard: 7.1.1 Follow the great changes that formed the Earth and allowed human life to start.
Lesson Steps:
We reviewed the readings from the past two days and reviewed our understanding of the Large Hadron Collider.
Then we reviewed what we learned by filling out the cause and effect chart for the formation of the Earth. We basically followed the Big Bang with the formation of the sun and and then the creation of planets. We then documented two legacies from the Big Bang:
1) All matter and energy we have today was created during the Big Bang.
2) The universe is still expanding today from the Big Bang.
We then practiced the first verse of our song which highlights the Big Bang.
We closed with a review of the cause and effect chart and went over the homework.
