Lesson Steps:
Once we finished our Do Nows we went right in to the inauguration essay instructions. We talked about the upcoming inauguration and also how this essay would enable the winners to have bleacher seats for the parade. We then set up our BCR recording wall where students can keep track of their weekly BCR to see if they are consistently reaching a score of 4. Then we worked together to review the necessary steps to revise the BCR from before vacation. We emphasized how to read strategically while preparing for a timed BCR.
