Standard: Plotting dates on a timeline in chronological order.
Do Now: Today's Do Now was a short recall quiz to see how much students remembered from Friday's BCR reading.
Lesson Steps: Once we took our review quiz we looked at our own BCRs. We recorded the grade and then wrote down a reflection on what we did well and what needs improvement. We will read these again before writing Friday's BCR. We then looked at two examples of student work and pinpointed the strengths of each one.
We followed this discussion with a quick game of "Around the World" using vocabulary. This is how we answered all the questions for last night's crossword puzzle homework. If we had time during that period we also reviewed the answers on the timeline handout from Friday.
