Mr. Magnuson is Absent

My apologies but I had to be absent today. Students worked on the same topics we have been reviewing and played more vocabulary bingo.

AIM: I will list three adaptations of humans that support Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

Standard: 7.1.1 Follow the great changes in Earth's history that allowed human life to start.

Do Now:
1) Vocabulary term: What kind of movement do you do on the monkey bars?"
2) Vocabulary term: "Relatives who have passed on many years ago."
3) What type of vision has two eyes in the front of the head?
4) What group of mammals has opposable thumbs?

Lesson Steps:
Students completed the Do Now and then got out new cards to play Vocabulary Bingo a second time. They then took a practice quiz on the evolution of humans and finished the class by completing the remaining 9 questions on the evolution cartoon handout. Once all of these steps were completed, students were allowed free time since we did not have any on Friday.

Homework:
There is no homework.
