Test Management Skills

Today we prepared for tomorrow's testing by working on our concentration levels.

AIM: I will document the change in my DC-BAS and CSA scores to plan for tomorrow's tests.

Standard: Test Management Skills (Paul is SMART)

Do Now: Since today was a 2 hour delay, we did not have a Do Now but came into class and got started right away.

Lesson Steps:
We worked on concentration skills by learning about the 5 acting tools in actors workshop. We went over the tools of the body, voice, imagination, concentration and cooperation. We acted out how to concentrate and tested each other on whether we could hold our concentration for a given amount of time. Once we have finished we looked at our DC-BAS scores and each student highlighted the area that they need to focus on during tomorrow's test. We will continue this process tomorrow and also look at the Social Studies CSA tests too.

Homework: Complete 30 drawings for the vocabulary cards from Thursday's post.
