Today we delved into the geography of the Nile Valley.
AIM: I will document my achievement in this school year in class and I will add 8 features to my mental map.
Standard: 7.3.1 Locate and describe the major river systems that supported permanent settlement and early civilizations.
Do Now: Egyptian Geography Pretest
Lesson Steps: We started off with a pretest on Egyptian geography and then moved into reviewing the data on our Core Standards Assessments. Next we revisited our mental maps and completed the information dealing with the Nile Valley.
Homework: Get a good night sleep and eat a good breakfast for tomorrow's testing.

- I have been teaching at Paul Public Charter School for seven years and I love it! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from American University in 1997 and my Masters in Teaching Social Studies from Brown University in 2002. I also have a certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and I used this training to teach English as a Second Language in DC, New York City and also in Puebla, Mexico.
