Lesson Steps:
We continued our work from yesterday with reviewing the new vocabulary words. We then read the passage in the textbook that related to the geographical background of Mesopotamia. Students filled out the pro/con chart that relates to the reading. Students were then instructed on how they needed to write a letter describing whether they would like to live in Mesopotamia or not. This homework assignment will set students up to be able to make their presentations on "House Hunters Mesopotamia."
Homework: Fill out the chart on the five aspects of choosing a new area and then write a letter to your client on whether they should or should not settle in Mesopotamia.
